Mosaic on Violet

Flat, cleanly cut pads in greens, teal, yellow and olive tile across a rich violet-blue field in this small square. The leaves overlap into a shallow mosaic, each notched heart outlined against the water so that the surface reads as pure pattern.

At the left a red pad supports a single pale bud, the one figurative note in an otherwise abstract arrangement. The cool violet water shows generously between the leaves, keeping the composition open and calm.
